The Unit Charter Renewal System (UCRS) will allow you to renew your unit’s charter online. You will be able to select the members from your existing charter roster, update their information, add new members, and see a summary of the costs associated with your new charter. The letter that was mailed to Committee Chairs is below as an attachment.
There are five stages in the process and the system is set up to guide you through each stage.
We recommend that you collect all the required information including new member forms with appropriate signatures prior to beginning.
Your units individual access code was on the letter, if you can not locate your code, call the RSSC and ask your DE or the Registrar.
Don't forget to complete and turn in your Journey To Excellence paperwork!
After printing the final copy you must obtain the required signatures and then submit the printed copy with the indicated payment to the Scout Service Center. The original copies of any new member applications (with appropriate signatures) must also be included. Once the registrar verifies all of the data, the charter will be released to national for processing.
